who were very affluent the whole state of Oklahoma had 2 airports yet 6 blacks owned their own plane. There was also California Taylor who i call the black paris Hilton she took a cruise to France every year for her clothes and engaged in other lavish acts[her father owned the biggest cotton gin west of the Mississippi]. In black Wall street as it is referred to as today the dollar circled the community at least 30 times taking almost a year before it left the town. Here on Black Wall Street they made their money the old fashioned way they worked for it, they didn't have basketball players,rappers and drug dealers but instead they had accountants,doctors,lawyers,farmers and other academics. Can we ever have that prosperity again 
i hope so but the future looks dark with every 1 in 3 black kids wants to be a rapper and the other 2 wants to be a singer or an athlete. What's funny is you have a much greater chance of becoming a business owner or accountant than you do becoming a successful rapper or athlete, but no one tells our kids tht so they keep striving for these unprofitable dreams. How many friends do you have that talk about owning property or investing in stocks or tax free municipal bonds my guess is none. i manage my own investment portfolio and i don't know one dude in the hood that knows about the stock market, News flash the financial markets are the back bone of western civilization, if you don't understand stocks,bonds,and commodities you will always be a servant to money and money will never serve you. To sum it up my message to you gangster,hustling dope boys is diversify your portfolio and acquire some assets you iced out idiots. Stop making Jacob The Jeweler rich off of your advance money from your record deals and buy some land maybe in New Orleans. If every rapper put the equivalent of two diamond chains in money together they can form a private equity fund that would have enough capital to buy land and build houses,apartment buildings, and hotels all over New Orleans [on some real monopoly shit], and truly be ballin out of control you and your sons and their sons baaalllin LOL
