50 Cent Hasn't Reached Platinum Yet Do You Think He Cares

I already told yall that artists only get about 25 cents a record selling albums doesn't put money in an artist pocket shows do. A reccord label first has to recoup that advance money plus money spent on marketing and promotions and fancy producer fees IE Timbaland,Neptunes, Dr.Dre etc before an artist can start to collect his measly 25-35 cents a record LMAO.
Why you think 50 cent said on 106 and Park you can buy or download my record for free online just come to the shows.

He realizes after that 400 million dollar vitamin water check that there is real money out there and he is just a slave to Eminem,Dr Dre and the real boss hog jimmy Iovine. He talks about it in his bonus song on his album. You see people Death row records was the first label to crack a 100 million records sold with its shocking gangsta rap and rap legends in the making like Tupac,Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. Tupac was shot Snoop and Dre left and Suge Knight has been in and out of jail ever since. So hmmm whose left holding the bag or should i say the masters ohhh that's right the guy who wasn't in any of the videos Jimmy "the king pin" Iovine. Listen people the powers are in the masters the catalogue you see Motown records has been thriving all these years not on their batch of new artists but on its catalogue of some of the best music ever recorded by the likes of music legends like Marvin Gaye,Diana Ross,Stevie Wonder etc. The true assets are the catalogues that continue to produce income year over year these songs are used in movies, commercials and television shows every year producing big royalty checks for the catalogue owners. You see 50 cents doesn't own his catalogue so that money doesn't go to him he has to do shows to continuously generate income like all other artists. Don't get me wrong tours are profitable for groups like U-2,The rolling stones,Prince and other musicians that like Kanye West said have stadium status. They can sell out stadiums even years after their last albums but when is the last time you saw old school rappers selling out stadiums. Hip-Hop fans have no respect for their music veterans in Hip-Hop you are as good as your last hit after that thet toss you to the side like some played out sneakers just ask KRS-one,Mc Shan etc LOL. Jimmy Iovine sold the Death Row Masters for 500 million dollars and bought it back again. It doesn't end there he also signed Dre the talent behind Death Row records and signed him to a new record deal and used him to build a new empire for him. Dre signed Eminem the first good white rapper and sold numbers in Hip-Hop that was once thought impossible he did 10 million records sold and coined a new phrase he went diamond. Only rock, pop and country music ever did those numbers before the great white hope came along. Not only was he a good MC but he loved the music and had an eye for talent he then signed 50 cent after hearing him on a mix tape and the rest is as they say history. 50 cent has one more record that's done already he said so on The Jimmy Kimmel Show and i guess he's done with Jimmy "the crook" Iovine .

50 cents said his last album might be his last on the song "Smile" and how he feels like he is being pimped LOL he truly has seen the light. Look at Jay-z the primary reason he took that Def Jam president job was because La Reid the CEO promised him a chance to get back his masters a true asset he can leave his kids
except for his first album Reasonable Doubt Dame and Biggs own that master and wont give it back.
[proof of that is in this article in the 15th chapter]
http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune_archive/2005/10/17/8358069/index.htm

Look at Big puns family he's a rap legend and their broke because he owned none of his work. His family was trying to sell his terror squad chain for money
http://www.sixshot.com/news/5274/

what a shame that's all these rappers have to show for their work is their worthless, ugly gang banger chains with cloudy diamonds in them[effing a.holes].

Now with Aftermath records,Shady records, and G-unit records selling more than 50 million records combined who owns the masters and the incoming producing assets yes its slash Interscope records and Jimmy "The Kingpin" Iovine LMAO . Get the picture folks so eff if you went platinum or not get the real asset your masters idiots wake up 50 cents has sure heard the alarm clock and he has awaken out of slumber.
Remember the Golden rule you ice pushing refrigerators we call rappers [50 cent does] he who has the Gold will rule.

This is so true. VH1 had a special on New Edition and how amongst all their fame in their glory days were in debt and close to being bankrupt like TLC. It's a shame. Knowledge is truly power.
Your topics always hit the nail on the head. Keep doing it up!
Much respect.
