It's me snitches hope i didn't interrupt our mixtape, rap video filled lives but i'm back to spew that venom. Something touched my heart, a couple months ago I was trading on the market and heard Coca Cola's [ticker symbol KO]4.1 billion dollar buy out of glaceau the makers of vitamin water. Yes the second thing I thought was wow 50 cent is gonna get a fat check and a taste of the stock market where the real cheddar is. what was the first thing i thought you ask well it's why don't i own shares in Coke of course. It seems 50 owned 10% of the company and his cut from the buyout was 10% of 4.1 billion dollars=
400 million dollars, the biggest check any rapper can ever conceive. Even Kanye West had to admit that when he heard about the 400 million dollar payday,it showed him that in the grand scheme of things he "didn't have his money right"[singing],I guess that was his inspiration for his new song. Yes people the gold is not in music but in real assets like stocks, bonds, land etc and the quicker we stop buying Nike's and start buying stocks in Nike the faster we stop being the best dressed poor people on earth. Hopefully this brilliant business move by 50 cent will inspire others like Kanye to invest some of that tour money in some real assets and business ventures. Here's to you 50 Cent the 400 million dollar man, now don't buy out the bar with it buy out the bars of gold and silver bullion with it. Here are my suggestions of how you should allocate your investments with that check [after taxes of course].
20% - equities [stocks]
10% - government bonds and treasury bills
25% - real estate preferably farm land
40% - hard assets[gold, palladium etc precious metals] mostly silver it is greatly undervalued
5% - start up business ventures bars, clubs, franchises etc...
cheers 50 Cents invest or die trying and remember the Golden rule people he who has the Gold will rule.
